Lorient 2026 – Cornwall at the Heart of the Celtic SeaIn 2026, Cornwall will be the featured nation at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient – the world’s largest celebration of Celtic culture.For ten days in Lorient, Brittany, the city will host music, dance, art, and community events that highlight Cornwall’s distinct identity as a Celtic nation.This is a major opportunity to share Cornwall’s heritage with an international audience. From the Cornish language, Kernewek, to traditional music, local crafts, and regional food, the festival will showcase the best of Cornwall’s cultural life today.Why It Matters:
Lorient is a major platform for cultural exchange. With thousands of visitors each year, it’s a chance for Cornwall to tell its story, build international links, and celebrate its place in the modern Celtic community.
Submissions of interest for bands, singers, dancers, musical acts etc are OPEN NOW
